Newcomers Class

Newcomer’s classes begin on July 27th to help you become an active part of the parish. Consider these classes designed with you in mind. July 27th: Who we are, who you are, how we worship. August 3rd: Our Community - home groups, Foyers, ministries for adults and children. August 10th: St. Patrick’s impact - why I came, why I stay, my ministries. August 17th: Stewardship – love God, yourself, practice, and be transformed. Classes will be held in the Board Room from 9-10 am.

Summer Spiritual Formation for Teens

Youth classes began June 1st. For an opportunity to hang out with your St. Patrick’s friends over the summer, there is no need to look further- we will have a Summer Youth Journey program here at St. Patrick’s.
Our goal in youth ministry is to see that our young people grow in the knowledge and love of Christ in the context of worship, witness, service, and fellowship. We will structure our Summer Youth Journey 2008 around these core areas during eight summer Sundays beginning June 8 and lasting through August 3 (meeting every Sunday at regular class time except Fourth of July weekend).

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Rooms 5 & 8 - This program will be divided into three five-week sessions:
May 18 – June 15 Hands On Art Class led by Dawn Frazer, DaAnna Stringer & Barbara Allen.
June 22 – July 20 Cooking from the Bible, led by Edie Krakowiak & Elizabeth Piper.
July 27 – Aug. 24 Music, led by Johnnie Denton.

Six Weeks of Musicianship will be led by our organist-choirmaster, Gail Ofterdinger-Ledgister, in the music room. We will explore the following topics:
June 1st - Music Note-Reading for Dummies; June 8th - You Got Rhythm; June 15th - Birds Do It and You Can Sing Too; June 22nd - Once Upon a Time Signature; June 29th - The "Un" Lost Chord; July 6th - Holiday - No Class; July 13th - Ragtime Piano: From Train Wrecks to the Nave.
